Orginally I thought we were staying at the Marriott Courtyard -- actually we had reservations there and also at Residence Inn, waiting to see who all was going with us. We ended up staying at the Residnece Inn. I'm glad we chose this as I wanted a comfortable place to stay for my son, in case we just wanted to hang out during the day. It had two large nice rooms with the kitchen/living area in the middle. Complimentary breakfast, and on Thursday night "happy hour" with snacks to nibble on! It's about 10 minutes away from the RTC. We met a few families that were also going to PIR. It was a nice and roomy.

Yes, It's really roomy if you just want to go hang out, watch tv, play cards, and just visit!! My son was real comfortable -- he took a 2 hour nap too! I highly recommend it!
And yes, I do miss the cold Kentucky weather -- but don't think I could hack that chilly Chicago breeze for very long!

we stayed there in sept. it was ok but when the frig went biszerk in the middle of the night and made all kinda of noise they gave us a free night and then sent a coupon for another night at any marriott annywhere.
we enjoyed being able to hang out in those large rooms and cook ect. close to everything and clean.
We too stayed at the Residence Inn. It was great for us and my son just wanted to hang out with his brothers and girlfriend. I forgot to bring sweats for him so he wore his younger brother's clothes in the room. Didn't want wrinkles or pizza stains on those dress whites. I was a real life changing moment when he asked for a hanger to hang up his uniform. LOL

We stayed here as well! We had the 2 bedroom suite, each one had their own bathroom. The staff was wonderful. They gave us a basket full of stuff, we had DH's baby sister with us & they childproofed the room for us, allowed us to stay a few hours after check out without charging us extra.

I'll definitely book this place the moment that I hear when Matt's graduation day is. This sounds like an excellent place to stay!! :)
