I am considering joining the navy and if I do I want to be a RP. My question though is what are the requirements? I know in the Army to be a Chaplain Assistant you have to have a year of keyboarding in either high school or college and I have neither. I scored a 54 on my ASVAB so I should be good there just wondering about the requirements.

I dont think that being an RP takes any other requirements than any other job. But then again I dont know for sure so im not going to feed you a line of BS.

But you should be fine. Your best bet is to talk to a recruiter about it.

There will be the same basic requirements as most other administrative type jobs .... your english and reading comprehension scores will probably be weighted fairly heavy.

Good luck and let us know if you are able to pick this rate ... not many people go after that one these days.

Yeah I read, write and talk just as good as any 18 year old from michigan and yeah there isn't too many people into Jesus these days :undecided:.

Im from Michigan too. You would be suprised how many people you'll meet in the Navy from Michigan.
