I'm currently preparing to take the ASVAB as soon as I can go to the recruiter for a final urinalysis, and I was just wondering what kind of time frame I'm looking at between the ASVAB and Basic.

depends man, alot of people seem to be waiting 8 months to a year... .But I bet once its all said and done if you told your recruiter to get you on the first plane out that has a seat open, they will.

Depends on the rating that you choose.... Choose a rating that you will be happy with not one so you can be on the next flight out. Picking something cause you are in a hurry will cause for regrets later.
It's not something that you can change your mind on if you don't like it. So sit down and go over all your options with some serious long term though behind it. If what your interested in is not open - leave and go back later.... This is your future don't let anyone influence your decision in the wrong direction.
To take something just so you can leave sooner is not a wise decision in my opinion. You are joining to better yourself and serve your country. So select your rating carefully for YOUR FUTURE.. not someone elses.
