Indoors or outside?

I've seen in some books at the recruiters office and in photos
some PIR that were held outside, or at least it seems that's what was going on.
Is PIR always held indoors, or is that only during the winter months?

My exboyfriend was at Basic from November to January and I believe he said that for the most part they were indoors but I know they did run outside a couple of times when it was warmer out, even though it was raining.

I thought they were always indoors.... I have never seen pics of a outside one or heard of a outside one till this thread.

Here is an example of what I mean, photo-wise. I don't know if maybe it used
to be outside and then they've changed it or what, but I can't find any information about it.

they could have been doing some sort of construction on the main building where graduations take place. Mine was indoors.. I wonder what would have happened had it rained in that picture.. then again, it is the Navy. lol

Also depends on when the picture was taken .... we used to have bootcamps in Florida and California where all the graduations were outside.
