I am Christopher Fisher, i am a civilian that always have wanted to join the service, but i am aged out by about 4 years and i have been permanently disqualified for medical reasons, non waiver able many years ago when i was 18 :(

I still enjoy discussing the navy and reading about the navy life! :)
The main things i do now is just volunteer for different places in my community, that is just as good as serving for someone where joining is not a possibility.

I am glad to be here, my areas of interest is life on ship and navy tradition and current issues affecting the navy today.

even tho i cant join due to have been disqualified. I still would and still recommend folks to sign up, and i have been known to help folks get the phone # to their local navy recruiting station and give advice if i could, on what to expect (i research this kind of thing a lot) :)
