One who is down to earth, cares, and be there for you when you need help? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can ask my son when he gets back to shore to find out for you...right now his ship is out doing quals...should be back this week some time.

I'm sure any of them would do fine .... where you have the best advantage is the fact that you have a very large naval station just down the street from you !!!
For general shipboard type jobs .... you could go take a tour of the ships at the NAVSTA on 32nd St.
For aviation type jobs .... head over to the Naval Air Station on Coronado.
For SEAL / SWCC ... they are over on the Silver Strand.
Call any of the local recruiters .... the guys out in El Cajon used to be pretty decent folks .... ask them to show you around the bases and tell you about what goes on in all of them !!
Good luck .... tell us what you find out !!

My son said that pretty much any of the stations there are good...most are 3 man stations and higher. Call and set a time to go in a talk to one who is ever closest to you at this point...if you dont get a good vibe from them, call another station!
