so one of my teachers nominated me to participate in this event...Now all i have to do is raise the money to go....Tuition is close to 3000 dollars....Its for those interested in a medical career as i am....It also looks really good on college resumes and stuff so im hoping i can attend..

Do you already have some ideas for fundraisers??? It's not easy but it's attainable. Send out letters to EVERYONE you know. I did that, had a friend of mine's band donate their time to play during Mardi Gras and the bar let me keep "donations" that people made for the cause as they entered the door and I also held a yard sale. People donated items to put in the yard sale...with that and my own stuff, I made over $500. Hope this gives you a few ideas! Good luck and I pray that you are able to raise the entire amount. Opportunities like this are wonderful. You just have to want it badly enough to make yourself work to reach the goal. You can do it!!!
P.S. This is a prime time for carwashes...all of that pollen in the air!!!

no not really i'm writing a basic letter to send out to all the buisness in the area i need to raise it by april 24th not much time

Oh wow! That is soon! I hope that lot's of businesses give you great responses...AKA-big checks!!! I wish you the best of luck. I truly hope you get to go:)
