Future Sailor

Howdy folks,
Well im new here as you probably know by reading this lol. My name is Nathan i am 22 years old and I am working on shedding of few LBS before enlisting into the DEP program. I am really hoping to get CM rate but it not maybe I can EO or BU. I have wanted to be a seabee & a sailor since 9/11 and I came close to joining once but put it off and nothing has ever really seemed to fit, so I decided its time to follow a dream and join the world best navy!! I am excited and can't wait to become DEP and go to RTC and A- School!!

I haven't talked to the recruiter yet because I am going to get myself in the allowed BF% before I do so he will take me seriously. I talked to one when I was 17 and he didnt take me very serously because I was over weight and not old enough. So I am going to do as much research on my own as possible whch is actually a good thing so I will know when the recruiter is being honest and when hes trying to "sell me a new car" lol.

Well I have some questions so I am going to go post them in the appropriate place!!

Welcome!! :) I'm sure you can talk to a recruiter now if you want. Matt wasn't in the weight par when he talked to a recruiter and he took him seriously. Let him answer some questions for you. Learn to trust your recruiters... and make sure they tell you both sides!
