Hi everyone! My name is Chelci. I'm thinking about joining the Navy as an HM. My DH is in the Marine Corps and is in the radio btn. I have done my reserach and I took the practice ASVAB on my own and tomorrow I am meeting with a recruiter. I have been lurking on this board for a few days and I finally decided to join. :)

Make sure your open to other jobs as well. You might not be satisfied when you don't get that job.

Make sure your open to other jobs as well. You might not be satisfied when you don't get that job.

This isn't like other branches. You pick your job and wait until there's availabilities. :kiss:

My rectuiter told me that (if I get cleeared) I'll pick 5 jobs that I wouldn't mind doing hoping that 1 exsts. Some jobs are really hard to get into. Do you really want to wait a year or more?

Sucks doesn't it? Lol. Study your book. You could be a step ahead everyone else in memorizing... despite what Rudy says :P lol!

Matt didn't study his until mid January after having it since May '08. LOL. Little brat XD
