:) He wrote it to his mom and she called me to have me come over and read it. Everything that I've read about around Navy sites and the info y'all shared with me he said he is going through. He has to wear those horrible glasses... he calls them his "hot" glasses :P. He has a bad division though - He told me they don't stop talking and let the orders they get go through one ear and out the other. "Whats worse is they yell shut up when a cheif or petty officer is coming back." he says lol.
He told his mom to tell me how much he misses me being by his side and that he was getting choked up writing the letter. He misses and loves me a whole ton :)
I'm so floored to have his letter that I had to share on here. ^-^ And I guess this can start for the ladies who get letters from their boyfriends/husbands that are in boot camp and want to share!

I'm thrilled you finally got it!!! How many days have passed since he's been there? Wondering if there was a common waiting time for most people to receive the first letter! I got mine on day 11. I understand the whole disruptive division. Adam has gotten alot of intensive training because others won't keep their mouths shut...Matt will definitely have to pay for others mistakes and out right laziness! But he'll become stronger because of it. Adam's division was joined by another in the first month and he said that his division was doing great but when the new one came in, there were a whole lot of "kids" that wouldn't listen and would rather hear themselves talk than pay attention. I imagine Adam is in great shape now!!! Wonder if they'll ever cross paths! What are Matt's duties? Well, I know you are excited and should be. Emmerce yourself in his words...gets you through the hard times! Big hugs,
Carly:)

We got it yesterday. So from the exact day that he left its been two weeks... but it said he wrote it on the 18th (which I'm trying to figure out how since it was a tuesday that he wrote the letter :P and I thought he couldn't write letters except on Sundays)
He talked about folding everything and doing PT sessions. I'll learn more as the time goes on... lol. I just wonder if he's been getting my letters. XD
Matt says he gets annoyed by his division (he called it ridiculous... which is what he says about stuff he doesn't like all the time, lmao)

He's probably just started receiving your letters. I think they make them wait a little while to earn the priveledge of hearing from family. Adam told me how good he got at making up his rack, stowing things away and ironing...He wrote, "I'll give you a second to stop squealing and jumping up and down!" That boy would throw his dirty clothes on the ground IN FRONT OF the hamper. I would always ask him if it required way too much energy to put the clothes IN the hamper?:) I'm so maticulous when it comes to organization so he knows how much that excited me! Hopefully Matt will be able to rub off some honor on those difficult recruits! I thought they were only allowed to write on Sundays...maybe he's sneaking a few lines off here and there when he can! I know they probably all do it!!! It's wierd getting letters and reading what has already taken place like a week ago. Wish I had the current update with his life there, but happy all the same to even hear from him! Keep up the writing. He may get like 4 or 5 on one day, but he'll be excited to get them regardless of when.

LMAO! I get that way too! Matt and I can be slobs one day and then the next I get really nit picky about where stuff has to go. I looked one day after Matt picked up buffalo wild wings and put them on a plate, he had left the plate sitting on TOP of his lap top. I picked it up and said in a very mother-like way "You should wash your dishes, my dear." He stared at the plate and just grinned from ear to ear, "But that's what I have you for, my love" (and the names we used is truly what we did. We do this play thing all the time). Without a word I set the plate on his lap and took the controller from his hands and said "I'm grounding you from the XBOX until you clean up your dirty dishes in this room" XD The little brat pointed out my ice cream bowl from earlier sitting on the table. XD We were both in trouble. So yeah, I was pretty happy when he was talking about all the cleaning he has to do. Hahaha.
I've been sending him letters in bulk. I'll write one each day and when I get about three or four together is when I stuff stamps on them and send them through the mail. The I just realized that he might be reading them out of order... reading Feb 15th before Feb 13th and 14th.... XD lol

Are you not dating the letters? I put the date at the top of each letter and got Adam to do the same so I knew when he was writing as well...good to keep it all in order esp when he sends 2 letters at one time! Have you sent Matt any pics yet? I think that he would really like to have a great pic of the two of yall to fall asleep to each night:kiss:

Haha! :) I write them in the corner next to his name... but its on the inside. So when he opens the letter from the 15th and then opens the letter from the 14th... lol XD
I haven't yet. They're all online and I don't have a picture printer like my sister. I was thinking about going over to her house and printing one so I can send it to him but I want to send him so many and my sister wouldn't want me to print that much. So I have no idea how to do it. I guess I'll figure it out eventually.

If they are saved onto your computer, you can use something like www.snapfish.com and download them to this site. You can either order them online through snapfish and have them delivered or pick them up at a walgreen's or whatever type of drugstore you have near you. It will give you easy instructions. This is what I use so I dont have to download them to a disc and take to a store. Nice to have them delivered to your mailbox or be able to pick them up within an hour of ordering them. I love this program bc you can save "albums" on their site and erase them from your computer so it doesnt take up space. You can also mail them as an album (a bunch at once) and others can view and order if they like them too! You dont have to hassle with sending one at a time over email and it cuts out your responsibility of printing them for others!!! Consider it...I love it and have albums put together since 2006! Hope this helps!

Lol! You're a natural advertising agency! :) Thanks, I'll check it out. Hopefully I can send Matt some pictures so it helps him out while he is there. Stick it in his pocket and keep it there so he knows that I really AM with him all the time ^-^ Not just in his heart... lol
