Hi there everyone who happens across this!

I guess I'll tell you some things about myself and how I'm associated with the Navy (er, in case you couldn't tell by my username, really? lol!)

My name is Kristi, I live in South Dakota (yes, the state that is freezing all the time). I'm in college going for Medical Assisting (almost done too!). Its the same thing as nursing only we do a little more administrative tasks versus clinical stuff.

I love to talk a lot and make tons of comments. I have an odd sense of humor. And I'm not saying ADD just because, I actually do have ADD. In fact, I was driving with my boyfriend in the car and I got to talking, really into the conversation... when I saw a guy riding a bicycle down the road. I gasped really loudly and said "That guy looked like Hitler!!" ... and he did, I promise. He had the mustache thing going on and the hair style.

Uhm, I really love food. Basically anything sounds good to me.. unless it involves liver. I get kind've picky sometimes... so I contradict myself. I don't like tomatoes and pickles but I love cu***bers.

So to get to the gist of things! :) I'm the girlfriend of a very handsome sailor named Matt. We've been dating awhile, live in a house together and such. We don't have plans on getting married for awhile (at least until he gets through some of his schooling first). He just got shipped to Great Lakes, IL where he'll be for 8 weeks. He enlisted for 6 years on the Nuke program, so he's a pretty smart cookie! (smarter than I'll ever be that's for sure). I miss him like crazy (I still cry every night :bigemo54: ) but I know when I get to see him again that it will all be better.

I have possibly everything Navy. I warned him that our room wasn't going to be the same when he got back. I wouldn't tell him what I was doing (I threatened pink and purple until his eyes crossed! :P).

SO yeah. I guess I don't know really what to say anymore. Feel free to ask me questions, you may or may not get an answer ;) lol!

Thanks!

Welcome Kristi, my son is a nuke on a carrier, so if you have questions about his schooling just ask...I will tell you however, it is LONG and HARD, he wont have much time for social stuff or going home. He will get to go home after his A school, and depending on which nuke rating he got will depend on how long his A school is. If he is an MM, it will be 3 months once the actual school starts If he is an EM or ET, it will be 6 months once the actuall school starts. Then it will be 6 months for Power School and 6 months for Prototype, then he is sent to his ship OR he may get some leave depending on WHERE his ship is...hang in there...it is a long ride for his training!

Wow, thank you! :)

I would love to hear more about that. I can't exactly ask Matt, he isn't too sure himself. He does know that he will have to go to South Carolina for schooling for two years and that his program his hard. XD Lol.

Thank you for the welcomes as well ^-^

well here's a slightly informal welcome, lol.

I'm sorry woman but your intro was too long for my lazy ass to read right now haha.

:P lol. Did you at least read the part where I said I like to talk a whole bunch? Cause that explains for itself the long intro... haha

Haha! Certainly says a lot about my type of character. At least I'd never get bored. Can't say as much for the people around me though.... I don't know what they think when I jabber

Nothing wrong with being vocal

Can be something wrong with being a little TOO vocal though. :P That's another problem. I'm a very very blunt person.
