Almost done w/ A school.

So I will finish A school on tuesday. Im currently 21 days ahead. For any IT's out there (cousinIT) I did 105 in like 3 hours, thats amazing and im extremely happy that I got it done. Im awaiting orders now. apparently a new batch of orders just came out and I fall into that good group. Hopefully I get where I want.

ive had so much fun so far on leave. ive only been home a week and i found a girl whos into me and is just kind of fun while im down here :wink:, gone to islands of adventure w/ my best friend Ani and had a series of unfortunate events that made the day something I will tell for years, and its only been 1 week. moar fun 2 coome :D

Sitting in the Milan airport right now. My sponsor hasn't responded to me in 2 weeks so I'm pretty sure he's not going to be at the catania airport when I arrive.that's definitely got me worried. Italians are real real lazy with security and immigration, quite interesting. Anybody ever see the show that used to be on cartoon network lupin the 3rd? His face is on chip bags here. Also since I know no italian at all, all I've eaten since I got here is some pringles I'm quite hungry. Also the flight was fairly comfortable but I was only able to manage 2 hours of sleep max. I can't wait to get to base, assuming my sponsor set my room up like he promised.


So there's an update, it's now 10:40am for me. I'll post again once I'm in my room.

haha yea they showed up last minute. funnily enough my seabag got lost, when I went to pick it up a few days later they gave me the wrong one. Its all corrected now though :P.

Italy's pretty cool. lots of fun shit to do that im getting in on. In fact, tomorrow im taking a trip up to motta's castle. I'll post some pics.

on the good side, just got done w/ PSD and the dude likes me so he paid my SRB yesterday.. meaning Ill get my enlistment bonus before the next paycheck.. FOLLOWED by a paycheck woot!

NCTS will be a good duty station for you...there were questions about it on my E5 exam...but I had no idea what any of it meant. Got all the ADP stuff tho =]. Stay out of trouble!!!!!!! You do not want to go to mast and be that IT with no clearance!!!!!!!!!! And I have no idea what the 105 hours in 3 days thing meant...the A School has changed...I think it's more self paced now. It wasn't like that when I was there. I'm in San Diego, CA for 2735 (J-Net Core) right now...it sucks but almost over! Stay out of trouble!!!!

Oh you didn't hear??? SRBs are no longer existing for anyone that's not a CTI or a NUKE. All goes with downsizing the military...thanks Obama!!!!! SRB for having this school I'm doing was like 50K!!! Now it's about the same as being quad0...about 6-8K! :embarrassed:

Im not using all of it right away, but Im using a good chunk of it to buy a car out here. I got in it the bank today, it ended up bein 2900 taxed down from 4k. Im lookin to spend ~ 2k on a car.

trust me, when you get to your first boat and see how much work we do...work all the time...it sucks! you will want an incentive to stay in. mine right now is the economy....if it stays bad, i'm staying in!!! and it looks like it's going to stay bad...so i'll probably end up doing my 20 years

yea true true. ive heard about boats. all there is to do is work, sleep and workout lol.

What sucks is I dont think my current orders count as sea duty (which is such BS) so after this, ill go to a ship. *unless i get C school *crosses fingers** but then again, ill be going to a ship as an e4/ maaybe e5 so i wont be doing tooo much of the grunt work ;)


the economy will never be "doomed for eternity" but its not going to be back to 90s awesome for quite a few years.
