Make sure you are running and getting ready for the physical side of it also. Study, study, study and learn all you can before you get there. We kept telling Corey to study he kept "hanging" out and after boot he wished he had..

Im in the AECF program right now, I want to do the FC aspect of it. I also am interested in eventually doing SEAL training but I know I'm not even close to the shape I need to be to attempt it right now. Im working on fixing that though..

Have you gotten the SEAL Training pre workout schedule (I can't think of the actual name of it right now, sorry)? It is some tough training, but so far, my son loves it!!! I think he is absolutely crazy, but oh well..................LOL

Yeah, Ive got most of my PQS signed off I just need to do my physical fitness test.
Im still a little shakey on my general orders and I get a little hazy on the second part of the sailors creed. Other than that though I'm ready to go :)

Haha a little... Im mostly excited though. It's going to be my first time out on my own. I'm really looking forward to getting out and seeing the world. Are you getting nervous?

Haha yeah I have Yahoo. How are your parents taking it? My mom has been super nervous.. but I guess that is to be expected. Everyone has been really supportive though so that helps a lot. Ive already got my address book nearly filled so I will have plenty of people to write to. Just not sure if I will have the time to write!

Well, my parents are cool w/it...my Dad was in the Navy, and my little brother is in A School right now in GL. So it's just another ride for them, lol! I'm workin on the address book...I just can't get people to give their addresses to me!

Haha yeah it was kind of a pain to get some of my friends addresses. Thats cool your whole family is involved in the Navy. What is your brother going to be?

You may not have time to write all your friends, But you want to make sure they all write you and keep you informed of all latest going's on with your crowd.

As KYmom has said, you probably won't have time to write to everyone, but you do want to be sure to ask them all to write to you! That way you can stay in touch with what is happening on the outside. Also, mail is what seems to really help to keep you going while in BC! So you might want to explain to your friends that you can only write a short time on Sundays, so if they don't hear from you it is not from lack of caring just not enough time, but you sure would appreciate it if they continued to write anyway!
