HI Theresa,

Welcome to the Navy family. I have been a Navy mom for almost 9 yrs. Yes, it has it's ups and downs. Not all moms are happy with their kids hoice of joining the military. The oppurtunities for them in the military are unlimited. They will travel to places we only dream of, heard and will never be able to go too. They get to travel as they are working. Yes, they go into places that maybe in the news but they are trained for this.
You have to remember that this was their decision, no one forced them to join. They could of joined for a various of reasons, what ever it was we as moms need to stand behind them and support them. It is a rollarcoster ride but there are many out there ready to help you through it.
Are yougoing to venture out here to Chicago for PIR?
