How to post Youtube videos!

Please be mindful of what you post and put nothing inapprotiate or it will be removed.....so here is how you do it. Find the youtube video you want to put up here and in the right side of the page it shows the URL right above the embed code, you get the youtube number from that. For example the one I just put up of the Kitty Hawk's big wave, the url is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccn3ieux6iU the only part that you will need is the video number which is everything after the = so for this one you will need ccn3ieux6iU.

In order to place the video in a post here just put the following:

[ youtube ]video#[ /youtube ] but no spaces before or after the [brackets] I just put the spaces so the video wold not show up again

got it. but its easier to use the PHP tag brackets. back out both PHP's and replace with youtube. then insert all after = between the brackets.

When in "advanced mode you wil now see this: http://www.thenavycafe.com/forum/morbid_blueb/editor/youtube.png

Just place the youtube video code between that and the video will show up...should help simplify a little. ;)

yeah that's the best way. with the youtube Icon. thanks for adding. that acutally use's the PHP tags with youtube installed....................:biggrin:
