Okay, I know, I've been MIA lately. Alot going on and no time to jump on here much, but now things are settling back down and I hope to join in the fun more often.
We've been busy at our house, between baking cookies almost every night for a booming home business and re-modeling our entire downstairs in the process. Check out the pictures on my Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/navymomx2
I coughed my fool head off for about 7 weeks - had a bit of a scare when they found a "mass" on the x-ray, but thank goodness it was a false alarm and was just scar tissue from a previous bout of broncitis. Since the flooring is finally down, my coughing seems to be better - well, at least I sleep most of the night - so we are thinking it was probably the glue.
So, I apologize to Jennifer whom I've neglected to get a goodie box out to - but I promise as soon as Halloween is over and we get the mess cleaned up from our Haunted Backyard event - I will be baking goodies for a big box to send to you. I can't forget my future daughter - in - law! BTW - Casey said as soon as you get back to Japan he would like to come down and take you out for a drink or dinner or something...sorry everyone else - just a little match making on side note. :)
In the midst of all this, it was wonderful to meet Vera and her son Glenn on their trip to Las Vegas and I hope to meet more of you in the future. Of course I will meet Kristie and her family at the wedding! hahahaha
