I sent several before I decided I had to do something to spice up the box sending....especially making it fun for me! We used ti watch a late Saturday afternoon show called" Dinner and a Movie". So I would hunt down DVDS he had said he wanted..sent microwave popcorm...red vines..and then send a canned ham..mac and cheese pkts..microwave potatoes....sm. cans of fruit and veggied with the poptops. Oh and I never forgot the Propel and Crystal Light pkts to put in their recyceld water. I went to a 99 Cent store and got a collapsable bowl with a lid (in the interest of space). Daniel said it came in handy for the potatoes and mac and cheese packets. At 99 cents..I wasnt heartbroken when he threw it out at the end of deployment!

send them nerf footballs...lots of them in case they go "over board". Little games, a deck of cards, baby wipes, febreeze (for those stinky roommates bunks), those heat in the microwave deserts, socks, a soft pillow case...hope this gets you started.

MA! you're right...I do. but it's only cause people dont like to do what they're supposed to. i've been trying to guide him into getting the quals he needs to get his overnight liberty. that's what everyone's goal is right now. poor kid, though. he's a crank!

my mom sends bags of cookies and candy...i like that. i got a care package from my dad's company once for christmas and they sent fleece blankets, magazines and books...they sent the little microwavable soups and stuff. it's always good to get SOMETHING while you're out =]
