Here I am (a little slow...duh)

Hi all - I've finally made it here. Love the new site Ray! I hope all of your sailors are doing well & getting back in the groove of things "post holidays"...blah
My sailor is doing well - just did a community svc project at Pebble Beach (tough job I know, But somebody has to do it). Community service is a big deal at her Command & she enjoys the work. School is going very well for her - in her 8th month now & she's quite impressive. I got to see her have a very fluent conversation w/ a man from Jordan - in Arabic. I was gobsmacked - just so darn impressed I had to walk away, as I kept tearing up.

Chelsealaurel & I are moving this week. We are quite excited, as we will live directly accross from the YMCA. I love the 'convenience' of it all.

Welcome to the site! Have been thinking about you lately! Glad to hear that all is going well with LC......WOW, that must have been something watching her have that conversation!!!! Impressive!!!

Moving?!?!??!?! AND excited about it?!?!??! LOL........I hate moving, so I'm not sure I could be excited! Good luck with the move and congrats on being right across from the YMCA..........I'm sure that makes you very happy :)

Tony is doing well, just extremely bored! It was hard when he had to leave after the holidays especially knowing that the only thing he HAS to do each day is muster. The rest of the day is his! It is driving him crazy, he hates it. But him and a couple of the other guys have been PTing together on their own trying to stay in shape for when they class up again. He should be classing up again the beginning of March.
